That's right, the digitally developed world is now bringing together the opportunity of Hay Festival wales to take place online. This new event will meet the challenges of our times and bring together world leaders, performers, and innovators in line with covid restrictions and from the comfort of your own home. So, grab yourself a cup of tea and get comfy for a full festival programme offering an open space to share stories and debate the biggest issues of our current climate, such as building a better world post-pandemic, tackling climate change, inequality and challenges to truth and democracy, keeping you gripped and intrigued.

Over the 11 days that follow, more than 200 acclaimed writers, global policymakers, historians, poets, pioneers, and innovators will take part, launching the best new fiction and non-fiction information to a wide audience. For over 30 years, Hay has brought readers and writers together from around the world, reaching more than five million people across five continents.  Writers, academics, thinkers, performers, and artists are chosen by those who Hay Festival most admire. Aiming to bring together the greatest contemporary practitioners and the most exciting new voices to our audiences.

All the events will be viewable for free on the Hay Festival website. Registration will open when the full programme is released in spring. All the events will also be subtitled, and you can support the Hay Festival by donating.
