Live Theatre returns to Stratford East

Book tickets

Live theatre is finally returning back to Stratford East with two outstanding shows. First up is Baruwa-Etti's blistering play The Sun, The Moon, and The Stars, starring Kibong Tanji and directed by Nadia Fall. A young British-Nigerian woman is visited by her brother’s ghost who takes her into the past, revealing the final moments before his murder. This show explores trauma and rage and the extent that one woman will go to find justice. It will be available to watch in person from June 2nd to June 19th, and online from June 15th to June 20th.

This is followed by April De Angelis’ Extinct directed by Kirsty Housely, a timely monologue about the climate emergency that weaves a tapestry of testimonials from environmentalists. A woman stands alone on stage and has one hour to change our future. This will be available to watch in person from June 30th to July 17th, and online from July 13th to July 18th.

Join Stratford East in their socially distanced auditorium or watch online. Tickets start from just £10. Check out the Stratford East website for access performances.
