1 August 2021 to 31 August 2021Visit website

Bristol Cathedral has announced an exciting programme of events with Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon. As well as enjoying the internally lit 1:500,000 scale sculpture of the moon, you will also be able to join in on a constellation of events and activities that the whole family will enjoy. The artwork will be free to visit but donations from visitors to see the Moon will go towards the work of the charity St Mungo’s, who work towards ending homelessness and rebuilding the lives of those affected by it.

The Very Revd Dr Mandy Ford, Dean of Bristol said: “The Moon has held a place in the human imagination since the beginning of time and Luke Jerram’s installation invites us to share in the experience of wonder as we contemplate our nearest neighbour in space. This installation also invites us to play, to have fun, and to journey to the moon and beyond!”

There is a whole host of outstanding events lined up including children’s events, worship, music evenings, science talks and even a beer and cheese evening. Take a look at the Bristol Cathedral website for the full listing plus dates, times and ticket prices.
