Music@Malling presents Earth, Water, Air and Fire - a summer series of concerts featuring works by contemporary composer, Deborah Pritchard and George Frideric Handel’s iconic Water Music and Music for the Royal Fireworks. The concerts are immersive and include art by Maggi Hambling CBE and Marc Chagall.
The programme includes world premieres of Light accompanied by a new painting by Hambling inspired by the music and Chagall’s Light - a work for solo violin, harp and strings inspired by the Chagall windows at All Saints’ Church, Tudeley - one of the inspiring venues for the series.
The concerts are performed by internationally acclaimed Chamber Domaine under the baton of Thomas Kemp with soloists Greta Mutlu and Harriet Mackenzie. In a five star review, The Artsdesk praised the ensemble for its ‘metaphysical billiance…a colossal achievement made up of seemingly effortless and joyous playing meeting with an equally joyous audiences response.”
The series runs from 9th - 11th June and includes outreach events.
£15 - £20 for individual concerts. £40 season ticket.
