New artistic programme at Chiswick House & Gardens

Chiswick House & Gardens are excited to announce their new programme, ‘Bring Into Being’, taking place from the 17th of May to the 31st of October. Bring Into Being marks a new chapter for this Grade 1 listed heritage site, and will feature site-specific art installations by Turner-prize winning artist Mark Wallinger, esteemed sound artist Peter Adjaye and installation artist Jaimini Patel. This new programme will allow audiences to reconnect with themselves, each other and the natural world after a tough, isolating year with an impressive list of art commissions, events and activities.

The House itself was designed by Lord Burlington and was partially influenced by the Ancient Roman Architect Vitruvius who placed the human body at the core of his design thinking. Bring Into Being will draw upon our history and design legacy and explore how these ideas shaped society. Academics and artists were asked to reimagine our future, and as we navigate back into a world of human interaction and social challenges, Bring Into Being will support the emergence of a new future.

Admission to the exhibition is included with the House ticket and can be booked online from the 20th of April, along with tickets for individual workshops and events.
