Norfolk and Norwich Festival 17th – 30th May 2021

17 May 2021 to 30 May 2021Visit website

Celebrate the lifting of restrictions on the 17th of May at Norfolk and Norwich Festival 2021. This 14-day event will be adapted this year to include outdoor and socially-distanced performance, art and music as well as a digital strand, so that everyone can honour the return of culture and the arts safely and with confidence. The vast majority of the programme will be free or ‘pay what you want’ to encourage as many people as possible to come and enjoy the festival and have some fun after a tough year.
The festival will take place in venues across the county, as well as at the newly reopened Festival Gardens where a brand-new music weekend will take place – Garden Sessions.

2021 will be kicking off with a live launch, Don’t Touch Duckie! on the first legal day for live performance. Further performance highlights will include a family show by artist Tim Spooner inside the historic prison cells under Norwich Guildhall, a contemporary sci-fi dance show Future Cargo by trailblazing artists Requardt & Rosenberg, and singer/songwriter Jessica Walker and composer Luke Styles who will be holding a mirror up to the times we live in to create a scratch of The Peoples Cabaret. These are just a handful of the many incredible events that will be on this year. Discover and connect with artists from down the road and around the world and explore the unique physical and cultural identities of artists and audiences alike.

Embrace the return of culture, creativity and curiosity and get down to Norfolk and Norwich Festival this year! Public booking opens from 10AM Thursday 15th April.
