Ninja Tune's Romare marks his debut at the Hackney venue, promising a night of deep, jazzy house-related merriment.
Transcending dance music, incorporating jazz, pop, blues, and lo-fi, Romare's unique brand of dance music has made international waves. You might even recognise 'All Night' from an advert or two.
Taking dance music to newer and exciting places, he now brings his brand to Hackney's Night Tales, a beautiful, medium-sized venue with much space to explore, situated right next to Hackney's Overground station. Not to be confused with Night Tales Loft, which is a 10-ish minute walk up road (don't make the same mistake I did).
A two-room venue, with Romare taking the main room, the terrace stage will be manned by a special guest to be announced. Don't expect a huge name, but they're very likely to match the jazzy-house vibe of Romare. Dance music for people who pretend to not like dance.
