Sadler’s Wells Announces New Shows with the Return of Live Dance

World-leading dance organisation Sadler’s Wells are excited to announce new shows, including performances at the Peacock Theatre which has been closed since March 2020. Following their reopening on May 17th, they are delighted to welcome back audiences to their theatres at full capacity in the coming months, which is a huge step forward towards recovery after such a tough year. Sadler’s Wells is committed to producing, commissioning and presenting new works and to bringing the best domestic and international dance to the UK and worldwide audiences, and this is exactly what will be happening this year with a jam-packed line-up of performances ready to celebrate the return of live shows.

Choreographer and performance artist Christopher Matthews presents a Wild Card in late June. In September, Sadler’s Wells Associate Artists Hofesh Shechter and Akram Khan present world premiere performances, and their production of Message In A Bottle returns to the Peacock Theatre, where its run in 2020 was cut short by the pandemic. Also in September, the Peacock Theatre hosts Breakin’ Convention Presents: The Ruggeds and Motionhouse’s new production, Nobody. Check out the Sadler’s Wells website for a full list of upcoming performances.

The new shows announced for September will be on sale at full capacity and all performances will be Covid-secure with social distancing measures in place. Tickets for all newly announced events will be on sale from Tuesday 25th May at 10 am via the Sadler’s Wells website.
