Midsummer Mechanicals

As You Like It with CBeebie

Featuring CBeebies’ favourite stars, this special adaptation of Shakespeare’s comedy with a CBeebies twist will be performed especially for pre-school children and their families. Our performances will be filmed in front of a live audience before airing on BBC iPlayer at a later date.

Family Globe Theatre Guided Tour

Who went to the theatre in Shakespeare’s England? What was a penny groundling? What was the smell like at the Globe? Step into the Globe Theatre here at Shakespeare’s Globe and learn about Elizabethan theatre and stage practices. This tour introduces younger visitors to Shakespeare’s London and to the theatrical world he created.
