The Ballad of Corona V

On 28th October 2020, Islington’s The Big House presents the socially distanced show, The Ballad of Corona V, a comedy and tragedy about the Coronavirus pandemic. Written by David Watson and directed by Maggie Norris, the show responds to the bizarre times we’re living in, with stories from the local community to across the globe.
 
The Big House offers training and workshops to young people who have been through the care system, many who are at risk of social exclusion. Like all of their shows, The Ballad of Corona V was inspired by member’s stories and The Big house is committed to making these voices heard.
 
The 19-person cast will be sure to give the audience an immersive and moving experience, responding to Covid-19 in a way that we can all understand and relate to. Groups of six audience members can enjoy the show safely with admission times staggered over 15-minute slots.
