Available from Monday 15 February 2021

The House of Cenci is an immersive, theatre performance created for a locked-down world, integrating a free-roaming text adventure with live performance on Zoom across four weeks. Parabolic Theatre have developed digital castle ruins for audiences to explore while uncovering the events of a harrowing tale.

Count Francesco Cenci was a tyrant, his daughter a victim and a murderer. Based on a true story, The House of Cenci exposes a shocking family tragedy. With opportunities to travel in time between 1599, 1972 and the modern day, audiences must solve puzzles, complete tasks and make independent moral decisions. The adventure is spilt into four acts, with a hybrid digital/live approach, involving informative texts and live interactive scenes to follow the story. Audiences will need to interact with live scenes , which will take place weekly on Zoom for an hour at a time, to progress onto the next act of the tale.

The House of Cenci will be available from Monday 15th February 2021 and the Zoom sessions will be at 8.30pm on 19th, 26th, 27th February and 5th, 6th ,7th ,12th, 13th, 14th ,20th and 21st March.
