The Mikado

7 June 2023 to 1 July 2023 Wilton's Music Hall

Sasha Regan’s sensational all-male The Mikado ensemble are pitching their tents at Wilton’s Music Hall from 7 June until 1 July.  The run follows hot-on-the-heels of their smash hits H.M.S. Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance. Expect plenty of cheer and tunes from a sensational cast singing all the familiar rollicking G&S classics including the classic “Three Little Maids From School Are We”.

Sasha Regan’s inventive production transports the action to 1950s England where an all-boys’ school camping trip is visiting the land of Titipu.  Topsy-turvy capers follow when the son of the Mikado flees his father’s imperial court and falls in love with Miss Violet Plumb who is betrothed to the Lord High Executioner…but will heads roll? Find out this summer. Gilbert & Sullivan’s inherent humour and satire on the English establishment with timeless tunefulness are married with Regan’s wicked sense of fun. The perfect uplifting tonic. Unmissable, toe-wiggling fun!
