Waterside’s Refract festival brings a remarkable theatre line up - from established artists to emerging theatre makers, Edinburgh Fringe previews and double bills.

Theatre maker Claire Gaydon brings See-Through to Refract - an edited, unedited, live, pre-recorded, reality show that invites you to see behind the camera.

Alongside See Through you can see Manchester-based Ransack Theatre’s Catching Comets - a disaster movie about falling in love, that challenges our notions of screen heroes.

Beach Body Ready from The Roaring Girls is a defiantly feel good show that sticks two fingers up to everything the media says we should look like.

Lewis Doherty returns to Waterside by popular demand with BOAR.  The creator of WOLF brings his latest character crammed, action packed, one man fantasy adventure tale.

Recipients of the Waterside Making Waves bursary, Meraki Collective and SharkLegs, bring two exciting new shows to Refract. Kill a Witch or Die Trying is a new visually captivating, belly laugh inducing dance theatre work and Fulfilment uncovers the price people pay for next day delivery.
Finally don’t miss the return of Nathaniel Hall and Dibby Theatre’s First Time - a funny and frank one-man show about attempting to stay positive in a negative world.
