24 February 2021Visit website

A discussion about one of the greatest challenges facing the COVID-19 vaccine rollout

Wednesday 24 February 2021, 7.30pm-9pm
The Science Museum’s online event will have a line-up of medical professionals, policy makers and experts in infectious disease, including US physician Dr Anthony Fauci and Vaccine Deployment Minister Nadhim Zahawi MP to discuss the history of and science behind vaccinations.
Immunisation is one of medicine’s greatest success stories and the vaccination is our strongest weapon against COVID-19. However, there are rising numbers of people who are refusing vaccinations for themselves and their children due to misinformation. The panel will celebrate its successes and explore the reasons why some people feel hesitant towards vaccines.
The online event is free, but tickets must be booked in advance from here.
