1 The Greatest Showman @ Old Down County Park – link here

Hugh Jackman fans rejoice. The Greatest Showman film-musical-extravaganza is one of the select films chosen by Adventure Cinema in their popular outdoor cinema series. In case you haven’t seen it – The Greatest Showman depicts the story of Phineas Taylor Barnum as he brings about a revolution in American show business. Expect to join other musical fans in a good old singalong at the park. Make sure to pack a blanked!

The 1978 classic Grease is making its way to Bristol’s Filton Airfield via Daisy Dukes UK Drive-Cinema. Enjoy the classic revelry of Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko as they entangle in the oftentimes perplexing throes of love. Daisy Dukes are also putting on other classics such as Pulp Fiction, Mamma Mia and the excellent Bohemian Rhapsody.

3 Film and Food Fest @ Clifton Down – link here

Outdoor cinema heavyweights Adventure Cinema are also behind the Film & Food Fest which will be popping up between 5th and 8th August. With plenty of space to relax and spread out, this four-day festival is here to celebrate all things film. Expect a mixture of new releases, classic movies and short movies; combined with some excellent local street food curated by the Cardiff based Street Food Warehouse.

JK Rowling’s 3rd book The Prisoner of Azkaban is a masterpiece. Certainly, the book (and subsequent film) where the Harry Potter series takers a darker turn; pitching Harry against the murderous Sirius Black. With the event so close to Halloween it only seems fitting that this Drive in Cinema experience should be partnering with a leading Scare Maze brands… See you on the other side!
