Anything but Amateur: Student Shows at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Every year, theatre companies across Scotland and beyond gather for a celebration of theatre, dance, music, performance, art, food, drink, and general merriment in Scotland's capital. While the Edinburgh Fringe Festival may attract many a visitor from overseas, student theatre companies at Scotland's many universities hold their own amidst the professionals and semi-professionals. Student theatre is an excellent way to support young people in the arts and get a little taste of what Scotland has to offer, so we’ve put together an extensive, but by no means complete, list of student productions on offer this year at the Fringe.
