2019’s Best Flower Shows

Now that spring seems to have sprung, here are some beautiful flower shows for you to check out. You can check out some beautiful new design ideas, stock up on gorgeous flowers, or simply have a wonderful day out at these flower shows going on all over the country.

The National Flower Show
Hylands House, London Rd, Writtle, Chelmsford CM2 8WQ
17-19 May 

The National Flower Show has been going for the last four years, hosted at Hylands House, a beautiful grade II listed villa in Chelmsford, Essex. For three days, you can immerse yourself in all things flowers, with lots of talks, beautiful displays and plenty of stalls. There is also plenty of home and lifestyle inspiration so you can feel go away with plenty of new and creative ideas for your own house and garden. 

The Kent Garden Show 
Kent Showground, Detling, ME14 3JF
25-27 May 

The Kent Showground will be hosting the Kent Garden Show this May. With over 300 exhibitors, there will be tonnes of beautiful flowers to admire and buy over three days. Some of the medal winners from the Chelsea Flower show will also be in attendance so you can see the latest styles and trends in displays and flowers. There will also be rides, music and food, so the weekend will be fun for all the family!

RHS Chatsworth Flower Show
Chatsworth House, Bakewell, DE45 1PP
5-9 June 

The RHS are bringing their flower show to Derbyshire for the third year at the beautiful grounds of Chatsworth estate. There’ll be lots of talks and displays by plant growers and experts, as well as an exhibition of around 6000 dahlias. You can also taste some fresh new teas at the Wedgwood Tea Conservatory whilst perusing the Show Gardens to get some new design ideas. 

The Blenheim Palace Flower Show 
Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, OX20 1PP
21-23 June 

This year, at the beautiful World Heritage Site in Oxfordshire, the Blenheim Palace Flower Show returns for a jam-packed few days. The Grand Floral Pavilion will show masses of traders and exhibitors from the UK’s finest nurseries competing for the Best in Show Award.  There will also be plenty of opportunity to stock up your own garden, including tonnes of beautiful new furniture and even gazebos.

The Knowsley Flower Show 
Court Hey Park, Roby Road, Huyton, Liverpool, L16 3NA
4 August 

The beautiful Court Hey Park in Merseyside is the host of the Knowsley Flower Show, the biggest flower exhibition event in the North West. For their 21st year, the show is better than ever, with over 100 classes you can take enter and compete in, so you can get the chance to show off your own flowers, vegetables and plants. There will also be live music, crafts, farmers market and fairground rides. You can bring your whole family – including the dog! - to this fun day out this August.
