Don't let the lockdown stop you moving!

The gyms, pools and sports clubs may be closed but we’re not going to let that stop us getting moving! Exercise in all its forms is amazing for our physical and mental health, and these online workouts will keep your mind and body happy during the lockdown.

P.E with Joe
If you haven’t heard of Joe Wicks aka The Body Coach then you might have been living under a rock way before social distancing kicked in. Joe has become a worldwide ambassador for living a healthy lifestyle through his “lean in 15” approach to eating, with his quick Insta recipes turning into numerous easy to follow cookbooks, as well as his free online workouts for all ages and abilities. Focusing on HIIT workouts (that’s High Intensity Interval Training), Joe’s videos involve quick bursts of movements with short rest periods in between, meaning you’re not getting bored of the same movements over and over. His current daily 9am P.E sessions are reaching families worldwide and are the perfect way to get you all starting your day with a bang.

Missing that gym class instructor that manages to motivate you through a workout with a smile? LA based fitness instructor and entrepreneur Cassey Ho is the bubbly and positive personality needed to banish those self-isolation blues. Cassey’s Blogilates channel features home workouts for all abilities and no equipment needed, with everything from one song workout challenges to daily mini workouts to help build on your fitness without the boredom. Her fun workouts are the ideal way to break up your day and get the heart pumping.

Yoga With Adriene
With limited space at home and the stresses of the current climate impacting your mood, there’s never been a better time to take up yoga. Adriene Mishler guides you through her series of focused videos with her calming voice and often her ridiculously cute dog. Whether you’re wanting to practice yoga for back pain, for anxiety, to invigorate you in the morning or wind down at night, as well as guided meditation and daily yoga challenges to keep your body and mind happy, Adriene’s videos have got you covered.
