To me, settling down to watch those classic festive films is one of the most exciting things about the holiday season. This year, make your favourite seasonal film even more special by watching it at one of these screenings at locations out and about in Greater Manchester.

Catch the classic Christmas musical, White Christmas, in the stunning setting of George Street Chapel in Oldham. Tickets are priced at £3.50 each (which also includes light festive refreshments). No list of seasonal films would be complete without mentioning It’s A Wonderful Life. See this classic at Stockport Plaza on Friday 18th November. Directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart, this timeless film is just as inspiring now as it was when it debuted in the 1940s. Enjoy It’s a Wonderful Life in the run up to Christmas and watch a live screening of The Royal Ballet’s glorious production of The Nutcracker on Thursday 8 December.
