London’s hottest new opening for May

Hot Stone



Hot Stone is opening on Fitzrovia’s Windmill Street. It is a beautiful Japanese sushi and steak restaurant. Executive Chef, Padam Raj Rai’s menu includes Hot Stone’s signature Ishiyaki fare, which is inspired by the Japanese art of cooking on hot stones, alongside outstanding, freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and seasonally changing hot dishes. The menu will also feature certified Kobe beef, with Hot Stone Fitzrovia being one of only eight restaurants in the UK to serve this dish. 

NYX Hotel London Holborn



A lover of good food, cocktails, and an electric atmosphere? Head down to NYX Hotel London Holborn. Named after the Greek goddess of the night, this new destination is a unique hotel, bar and restaurant that will be opening on May 17th. It is designed for the open-minded, with relaxed luxury running through the bedrooms and the Rena Spa offering a space for rejuvenation. The buzzing bar and restaurant is an experience like no other. Sabine



Sabine is London’s new rooftop bar, opening in the heart of St Paul’s on Godliman Street on the 20th of May. Dining here will allow you to witness spectacular views of the cathedral on two outside terraces, one with a retractable roof so you do not have to worry about the typical British weather. Whether it is after-work lounging, or late-night partying, Sabine is the new place to be. 

SUMI



Sumi, Notting Hill, will be opening for inside dining on the 18th of May, offering diners a unique sensory experience. SUMI’s menu celebrates provenance and the freshest, most beautiful ingredients. The elegant interior of pale wood panelling and traditional white tiling makes for a calming atmosphere. Head Chef Yasuda Akinori will serve a refined and delicate menu using delicious and impeccably sourced ingredients. 

Rudy's Vegan Diner



Following the success of the brand’s debut site in Camden and the opening of the world’s first vegan butcher in November 2020, Rudy’s Vegan Diner is opening its second restaurant on Islington’s Upper Street. The menu offers signature vegan versions of classic American junk food, including the Rudy’s Burger, the Rubenz and mac ‘n’ cheeze. All dietary requirements are covered here, with dairy-free freak shakes and cocktails on tap. With American style booths and a jukebox, this is definitely a diner with a difference. 

Heritage 



Finally, a new fine-dining Indian Restaurant, Heritage, will be opening on Rosendale Road, West Dulwich. Executive Chef Dayashankar Sharma will be drawing on thirty years of culinary experience, including Michelin-starred Tamarind and Kensington classic Zaika. Explore refined menus that celebrate traditional and authentic Indian recipes and ingredients or pop in for a taste of their Indian- inspired cocktails, a range of fine wines and Indian whiskies and beers.
