Spotlight On: Queens of the Electronic Underground at O2 Ritz 
What do I need to know? An expertly curated evening of five exciting electronic artists.  
Any star spotting? Curated by BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs, and featuring artists Jlin, Holly Herndon, Klara Lewis, Katie Gately and Mary Anne Hobbs. 
What’s the big deal? Forming part of the Manchester International Festival, this night will display the exciting future of electronic music through some of the world’s most talented female artists. Promising both pioneering sound and breath-taking visuals, this all-encompassing experience is one to head down for.

What do I need to know? A Salford based drama that addresses the undertone of the city, austerity, poverty and how youths are led into a life of crime. 

When can I see it? 18, 24 & 27 July 

Big Box Aliens at Lock 91 
What do I need to know? A semi-autobiographical comedy of anti-Semitism, biphobia and the perils of online dating, told in a comedic and interactive form for Manchester Fringe Festival. 

When can I see it? 17 – 18 July 

The Book of Mormon at Palace Theatre 
What do I need to know? Smash hit, award-winning musical The Book of Mormon has seen sell out tours visit cities across the world. Join the missionaries in Manchester for this musical tale of love and service. 

When can I see it? 6 June – 13 August
