Manchester - What’s On Stage this Week?

9 September 2019 | Maisy Farren

Spotlight On: & Juliet at Manchester Opera House
What do I need to know? A modern continuation of the iconic Romeo & Juliet, considering the potential future Juliet could have had if she’d chosen her own fate.
Any star spotting? The stars of this show are the legendary pop songs, including Baby One More Time, Since U Been Gone and Can’t Feel my Face
What’s the big deal? We love an empowering female retelling of a classic, and & Juliet ticks all of those boxes. Imagine a world in which Juliet chooses not to take her life when she loses Romeo, and instead runs away with her Nurse and discovering herself in Paris.
When can I see it? 10 September – 12 October
