Nothing summarises millennial culture better than these two phrases: unlimited brunch and rooftop bar. East 59th ticks both those boxes as a New York style rooftop bar and restaurant atop Victoria Gate. Eggs Benedict/Florentine/Royale are naturally available but check out their wide range of American dishes on offer, including Steak, Egg & Chips and Mac n’Cheese, and don’t forget an essential slice of New York Cheesecake to finish it all off. Dishes are individually priced on this menu, however for an extra £15 you can enjoy free flowing Prosecco or Bloody Marys for 90 minutes. Brunch is served from 12-5pm Monday to Friday, and 12-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, with a live DJ every Saturday 1.30-4pm.

For a menu that evolves with the seasons, and is inspired by produce local to West Yorkshire, Shears Yard brunch is destined to be different every Saturday, so there’s no shame in going every single week. The team at Shears Yard aim to combine classic and unusual flavour combinations and serve them alongside real ales and quality cocktails. Whilst the menu changes every week, at the time of writing it offers wild dishes such as Chestnut mushrooms in roast garlic & truffle cream, grilled croissant, rocket & parmesan; or Slow cooked beef brisket & vegetables in black bean sauce with vermicelli noodles, toasted sesame seeds and wasabi peanuts! Safe to say this is not your bog-standard brunch. For £25 you can choose any of the dishes and enjoy a bottomless selection of drinks for 90 minutes. Enjoy quality classic brunch drinks like Prosecco or Aperol Spritz, or order a personally tailored Bloody Mary (depending on how spicy you want it) or a fresh English 75 (a British twist on the French 75 with elderflower, mint, cucumber juice and prosecco). Brunch is served between 11am-3pm every Saturday.
