UK tour for this Autumn

Having emphatically set the bar for what can be achieved with a superlative livestream performance back in the early Summer of 2020 from London’s Union Chapel, Laura is thrilled to finally be able to take her acclaimed Song For Our Daughter album out on the road.

The shows kick off in Birmingham on the 4th October and runs through to 20th October at London’s Roundhouse.

Laura brought forward the release of Song For Our Daughter in the midst of lockdown last Easter as the pandemic took hold across the globe. It was received with widespread acclaim, and deservedly picked up Mercury Prize and Grammy Award nominations.

These shows will be Laura’s first headline dates in the UK in over five years, when she toured Semper Femina back in March 2017.

Tickets go on sale from Friday 26th March via www.lauramarling.com

The tour will take the band to Manchester, Bristol, London, Glasgow, Dublin and more, performing songs from their eagerly anticipated third album Blue Weekend, including evocative new single “The Last Man On Earth”.  Blue Weekend is the follow up to the 2018 Mercury Prize winning album ‘Visions Of A Life’ and is set for release on 11 June 2021.

The band played a massive 187 shows on the Visions Of A Life world tour - including a sold out Alexandra Palace, 2 sold out dates at Brixton Academy, and a set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

It was no surprise that creating a follow-up to ‘Visions Of A Life’ was a daunting task.

The band decamped to an Airbnb in Somerset, and it was there that they reconfigured who they were together, far away from festival stages, tour buses, awards shows, and fans. They cemented their friendship and set to work on some fledgling demos in a converted church. These demos evolved into Blue Weekend, a record produced by Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk, Brian Eno, Florence + The Machine) who has aided the band in refining their sound to an even sharper point. Rowsell’s personal storytelling is at the core of Blue Weekend, an album that sees Wolf Alice embrace a newfound boldness and vulnerability in equal measure.

Blue Weekend will be released on 11 June 2021 via Dirty Hit, and will be available on all DSPs, vinyl, CD & cassette.

Jake Bugg Set to Release his new album -
Saturday Night, Sunday morning on 20th August

All I Need, produced by multi-award-winning producer Steve Mac, was the second official single release for Jake since Kiss Like The Sun at the end of 2019, which was co-written with Andrew Watt (Post Malone). Both singles marked the beginning of a new start in Jake’s musical career since signing to RCA Records, alongside his tracks and short films Rabbit Hole and Saviours of the City released last year.

27-years-old and with 4 albums and numerous hit singles to his name, Jake Bugg has a seasoned knowledge beyond his young years, which he couples with a refreshing wry sense of humour. His laid-back gritty swagger and striking yet nonchalant image have seen him fuse his music and style, collaborating with the likes of Saint Laurent and Burberry on campaigns.

New album Saturday Night, Sunday Morning will be released on 20th August and Jake says it was “the most fun he’s ever had making a record”. The tracklisting will feature previous singles All I Need and Kiss Like The Sun alongside a new single coming next month.

Jake and his band played 9 sold out UK dates last Spring before the first lockdown erupted, which followed his November 2019 tour performing at venues including The Roundhouse in London and a hometown show at Nottingham Rock City.

He has announced a new tour for Spring 2022, with tickets going on pre-sale from 9am on Wednesday 24th March and on general sale at 9am on Friday 26th March.

Glass Animals Announce UK Tour in November 2021

Being the first opportunity for the band to play their acclaimed new album ‘Dreamland’ to their devoted fanbase, the tour is set to be a mind-bending experience.  The band’s single ‘Heat Waves’ also continues to grow on a global scale, showing no signs of stopping, holding the #1 spot in Australia’s singles chart for a second consecutive week and #35 in Spotify Global Top 50.

2020 was a whirlwind for Glass Animals – the UK’s truly original and hugely loved band who confidently set out their stall for their fervently anticipated third album with first single ‘Your Love (Déjà vu)’ in February, then set off on an impressive run of tour dates to celebrate the new music, when the trip was brought to an abrupt halt along with the rest of the world in March.

The story of Glass Animals’ single ‘Heat Waves’ is a truly staggering one – it was first released in June 2020 ahead of Glass Animals’ third album ‘Dreamland’ later that summer and resonated with their fans instantly and the track started getting healthy traction at radio globally. Next came a sync placement on FIFA which opened up a whole new audience and helped the track begin to climb charts all over the world. ‘Heat Waves’ most notably gained the number 1 on Triple J’s Hot 100 – an accolade not given to a UK band since 2009 with previous winners including Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish.

‘Dreamland’ is the band’s boldest album yet – a powerful and personal story that was born out of time of immense confusion and uncertainty for the band and as a result it’s an album that is very timely for the world today.
