London isn’t the only city for food lovers this October. At Bath’s annual Great Feast festival, independent restaurants, pubs, cafes and local producers come together to celebrate the city’s best food and drink. Enjoy new culinary experiences, explore new skills and make the most of “tenner treats” - £10 deals available at some of the city’s most celebrated restaurants. Don’t miss “Feast with a Farmer” which celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Bath Farmers’ Market (which also happens to be the UK’s first ever Farmers’ Market!).

The Great Bath Feast runs until Sunday 8 October. For more information, please visit the Great Bath Feast website.

Goose Fair

Dating back more than 700 years, the Goose Fair is one of Nottingham’s oldest traditions, and one of the longest running fairs in history! Drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, the traveling fun-fair’s attractions will keep the whole family entertained with classic carousels, dodgems, and the more thrilling (and stomach churning) rollercoasters. Of course, food is just as much a part of the experience, and no visit is complete without sampling Nottingham’s staple mushy peas and mint sauce. Sweeter treats are also available, including candyfloss, doughnuts, Spanish churros and French crepes. Top tip: Eat after you’ve gone on the rides.

Goose Fair can be found at Forest Recreation Ground, NG7 6HB from Wednesday 4 October- Sunday 8 October. For more information, please visit the Goose Fair website.
