The Marlowe Theatre is a major 1,200-seat theatre based in Canterbury, Kent and is celebrated for the diverse range of productions it puts on throughout the season.

Following an extensive rebuild in 2011, the theatre has become one of this country’s leading regional theatres and an influential creative voice in the South East. As well as touring operas, iconic musicals and beloved classics, the Marlowe Theatre also hosts a range of local productions and has established itself as a staple of Canterbury’s artistic community.

Culture Calling had a chat with Marketing Manager Ben Travis about the city's artistic community, the role Marlowe Theatre plays in the community's artistic drive and its diverse range of production.
