With over 100 events to choose from, we think February is gonna be pretty great, by the sounds of it – so grab your hat and gloves and get out there to listen to some proper music at a proper gig venue.

Fightback Bristol takes place at various venues across the city.

BEINGS, Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh
Don’t miss this new exhibition, showcasing artwork by young people from across Scotland, which explores the many ways in which creativity can help us to understand and express emotion. The exhibition forms a ‘mind map’ of thematic displays, in which new works made by participants are shown alongside the works in the NGS collection that inspired them. Interactive elements in the display will then encourage visitors to respond to the exhibition, in much the same way.

The exhibition is FREE and runs until 28 April 2019 at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, 1 Queen Street, Edinburgh EH2 1JD

Rebus: Long Shadows’, UK Tour
Detective Inspector John Rebus is retired but the shadows of his former life still follow him through the streets of Edinburgh. But when the daughter of a murder victim appears outside his flat, he's back on the case and off the wagon... Ron Donachie stars in this touring production, which was written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro.
