Where to Eat: London’s Prettiest Restaurants

Billie Manning

Spotlight on: Wild by Tart

Opened in September, Wild by Tart is the new restaurant from the Tart London catering company. The joint is run by entrepreneurs Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, who write a trendy column in the Evening Standard where they share their very own recipes for modern dishes ranging from wild mushroom pie to roast parsnip soup with prosciutto and walnuts. The two foodies have transformed a space in Eccleston Yard in Belgravia from an old electrical plant-cum-car park (not very Instagrammable at all) to an open-plan restaurant/café/photography studio/open space (very, very Instagrammable). The space also hosts events like fashion shows, press launches and awards ceremonies as well as public facing events weekly.

But onto the important thing: the dishes. Jones and Carr-Ellison have used their knowledge to create a delicious and fresh menu and are deeply committed to the idea of 'farm to fork'. What's more, the food is extremely photogenic: you only have to take one look at the Tart London website to confirm that.
