Award-winning, critically acclaimed Age is a Feeling returns to Soho Theatre.

Inspired by hospices, mystics and trips to the cemetery, Age Is A Feeling wrestles with our endless chances to change course while we’re alive. A covert rallying cry against cynicism and regret. A call to seize our time.

From Haley McGee (‘fearless, raw talent’ Canadian Broadcasting Company), creator of the sell-out play The Ex-Boyfriend Yard Sale and author of a memoir by the same name (published by Hodder & Stoughton). Age is a Feeling makes a triumphant return to Soho Theatre this February.

Described by The Times as the show that will give you a new lust for life, Age is a Feeling tells the story of one person’s life from their 25th birthday until the end. In a unique story format, the audience chooses which storylines McGee performs, choosing six out of twelve story cards that take them on a journey through one person’s lifespan as it unfolds. The six remaining unheard stories are left untouched and discarded, as a poignant reminder of the things we may never know about even our closest friends.

This never-the-same-twice show is directed by Soho Theatre’s Associate Director Adam Brace (Liz Kingsman’s One Woman Show, Sh!t Theatre Drink Rum with Expats) with scenic design by Zoë Hurwitz (winner, 2019 Linbury Prize for Stage Design) and lighting design by Daniel Carter-Brennan (Liz Kingsman’s One Woman Show).

Age is a Feeling Tuesday 14th February - Saturday 11th March 2023
