Artstage, the world’s leading promoter of Persian and Middle Eastern music, has announced a series of live performances to take place across London and the UK this autumn, featuring some of the region’s most celebrated artists.
Upcoming shows include a screening of one of the most culturally significant films of the silent era Grass: A Nation’s Battle for Life; pioneers of Iranian alternative music Bomrani Ensemble; a rare collaboration between Armenian and Iranian musicians Arsen Petrosyan, Adib Rostami, and Mehdi Rostami; pianist Arshid Azarine, who fuses Persian musical traditions with contemporary jazz; and legendary tar and setar virtuoso Hossein Alizadeh, performing with the acclaimed Dutch group Rembrandt Trio.
