Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra Friday 29 August, 7.30pm
The Orchestra unites musicians from Ukraine and those in exile. They perform Wagner's transcendent Prelude and Liebestod and Beethoven's iconic Fifth Symphony as well as a deeply moving suite by Ukrainian composer Max Kolomiiets.
Academy of St Martin in the Fields & Joshua Bell: Tuesday 20 January, 7.30pm
Featuring Brahms' magnificent Violin Concerto, and Schumann's vibrant and joyful 'Spring' Symphony No. 1, directed by Joshua from the violin.

Royal Philharmonic Orchestra 2025-26 season
With over 15 captivating concerts, exploring favourite melodies, contemporary classics, new discoveries and sonic surprises. There’ll be fireworks, serenity, and composers who speak across continents and centuries – from Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky to the timeless beauty of Beethoven, Mozart and Brahms. There’ll also be surprises too including works by Composer-in-Association Joe Hisaishi, Kevin John Edusei, who will showcase music by Bartók and Beethoven, as well as Gershwin’s fabulous Rhapsody in Blue with Japanese jazz piano sensation Makoto Ozone. There will be several opportunities to hear music written for the voice with incredible artists including Jess Dandy and Nicky Spence. Violinist Midori performs Sibelius’ epic Violin Concerto, pianist Boris Giltburg plays Grieg, and Sir John Rutter premieres a brand new piece for oboe and orchestra and conducts his joyful piano concerto with the incomparable Steven Osborne as soloist.
