The Stoller Hall | February 2023

Next month, head to The Stoller Hall for a whole new range of live music for all tastes.

Ahead of the launch of his latest contemporary classical album Thrive, French pianist and film/TV composer RIOPY brings his very personal style of music to The Manchester on Fri 3 February.

That same weekend, join Sheffield’s acclaimed chamber music group Ensemble 360 for a romantic evening featuring The Lark Ascending, a piece recently voted the nation’s favorite in the Classic FM Hall of Fame for a record 12th time, as well as music by Ravel and Schumann.

Plus, they’ll be taking children aged 3-7 and their grownups on a musical adventure with intrepid adventurer Izzy Gizmo, (based on the bestselling book by Pip Jones) as she helps out a crow that can’t fly. This event

With original music by Paul Rissmann the show features 11 instruments including strings, woodwind, horn and piano, and you might even spot the musicians playing pots, pans, whistles and household items! It’s a great introduction to live music for children, full of wit, invention, songs and actions, and plenty of opportunities to join in.
