The Gypsy Jazz Festival of London is a showcase of some of the world’s finest cutting-edge musicians specialising in the style affectionately known as ‘Gypsy Jazz’.
The festival has become one of the world’s most prestigious festivals dedicated to the distinctly European jazz style. Determined to break stereotypes, GJFL promotes modern, cutting edge, diverse and forward-thinking original gypsy jazz and related styles.
Supported once again by a generous grant from Arts Council England, GJFL is the brainchild of violinist and producer Tobie Medland and takes place this year at The Vortex Jazz Club, LSO St Lukes, Pizza Express Live Chelsea, World Heartbeat Auditorium, Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club, and Crazy Coq’s Soho with a line-up of internationally renowned musicians representing the finest the genre has to offer.
