The Beach is back, free and open to all.
Yes, it's almost that time of year again. Buckets and spades, sunglasses and sun cream at the ready: your favourite free pop-up Beach is back! Open to visitors throughout July and August, Hampstead Beach provides hours of fun right on your doorstep.
And this year, we'll have a variety of food pop-ups from a selection of handpicked caterers throughout the summer, including fish and chips, pizza, falafel, bao buns, burgers, hot dogs, Mexican tacos & tortillas and shawarma. Plus, it wouldn't be summer without a selection of cocktails, ice cream and refreshing summer drinks.
There'll be screened sporting events during the Olympics, Wimbledon, F1 and UEFA. And of course, we'll also be running a range of children's activities for all different ages including the Beach Club on Wednesdays from 2-3pm – a free interactive, creative and sunny beach experience for parents with children aged 0-4. Plus, watch out for a Summer Disco Boogie on the Beach for under 7s and a summer-themed Friday Night Dinner for those in their 20s-30s.
What's more, it will all take place in our brand new Dorfman Piazza, with its swanky retractable roof and sides. So just like Centre Court, if it rains, we've literally got you covered!
