A fantastical, playful one-person show, filled with song, tells a new fable for our times

This March and May half-term, join award-winning theatre artist and singer, Le Gateau Chocolat for a fantastical, musical one-person show about self-discovery, acceptance and joy.

Life’s Not Fair(y-tales)

In many a fairy-story there are wishes granted and fairy-tale endings – but what if your wishes come true in surprising ways?

I Wish is co-created and performed by internationally acclaimed theatre artist and singer Le Gateau Chocolat, with Unicorn Theatre’s Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw (A Dead Body in Taos, Fuel; Augmented by Sophie Woolley, Told by an Idiot; Midnight Movie, Royal Court Theatre), and original music and lyrics by Seiriol Davies (Betty! A Sort of Musical, Royal Exchange Theatre; How to Win Against History, Young Vic; Branwen: Dadeni, Frân Wen).

Le Gateau Chocolat’s stage work includes a UK tour of his hit children’s show Duckie and performances at the world’s most iconic venues from the Royal Albert Hall to Sydney Opera House.
A Le Gateau Chocolat & Unicorn Theatre production, in association with HOME MCR.
