A full programme of events for visitors this March to the historic Greenwich National Maritime Museum and Queen’s House.

Highlights for March include:

The Van de Veldes: Greenwich, Art and the Sea (2 March 2023 – 14 January 2024)

Explore the work of  Willem van de Velde the Elder and Willem van de Velde the Younger the most important and influential marine painters of the seventeenth century. This exhibition reveals how the family’s legacy as renowned émigré artists transformed British visual culture and inspired future generations of artists including J.M.W. Turner.

Women’s History Month

Discover the fascinating stories of fearless fighters, gender non-conformers, and resilient women through the ages during a series of talks at the National Maritime Museum during Women’s History Month.

Circumnavigating: Drawing Around Experience

A season of events for a range of ages and abilities from March–June dedicated to the art of drawing: including a symposium,  Sound and Vision: London Fanfare Consort and an after-hours drawing club or youth takeover.

There are also family activities including,  Safe Harbour and  SENsory Sailors, The Girl Friday Breakfast Club and Lunchtime Consets.
