A modern take on the classic fairy-tale Rapunzel

Join 12-year-old Refilwe, her aunty Agnus and their new friend Tumi this December, as they use dance moves, riddles and magic hair to escape the British Museum after closing time. Inspired by Zukiswa Wanner’s southern African retelling of the classic fairy-tale Rapunzel, Refilwe is a family adventure about home, hair and connecting with your roots, for audiences aged seven and older, with all performances presented in a relaxed environment.

Two individuals stand close together, smiling warmly as they read from scripts. The person on the left, wearing an orange jacket and black scarf, embraces the other, who is dressed in a dark sweater and holding a green script. They appear to be in a theater setting.
