The ultimate celebration of summer: 42 days of events!

There is much to look forward to in the warmer months. From 24 July, we embark on 42 days of world-class entertainment. There are over 80 events to choose from covering concerts, exhibitions, walks, workshops and more with many events free for families to enjoy. In the Snape Maltings Concert Hall we have outstanding orchestras, music and film events and international stars from the worlds of classical music, jazz, folk, roots and rock.

Visiting orchestras include Aurora Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia and the Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra. Visiting ensembles include Ensemble 360, the Jess Gillam Ensemble, The King’s Singers with Fretwork and Sphinx Virtuosi. The amazing Scottish-nominated singer KT Tunstall presents an unmissable solo set on the Concert Hall stage combining decades of memorable hits.

Barbara Hepworth’s The Family of Man sculpture is returning from its loan to the Rijksmuseum Garden in the Netherlands. The Tipi will be back in full swing with live music, our famous stone-baked pizzas and many food themed evenings.

At our other living heritage location, The Red House in Aldeburgh, you can walk around the house, galleries and garden to discover more about our founder’s composer Benjamin Britten and singer Peter Pears. Explore the new John Piper exhibition and artist workshops or enjoy tranquil garden yoga.

So why not join us for music, dancing, walks & talks, art, food & drink, workshops, free outdoor music and so much more.  Whether you’re a first-time visitor, a holidaymaker, or a long-time supporter - everyone is welcome!
