A Midsummer Night’s Dream: 27 April – 12 August
- Shakespeare’s deliciously disruptive comedy, Elle While directs, with Globe Artistic Director Michelle Terry as Puck.
Macbeth: 21 July - 28 October
- An epic tragedy about one couple’s ruthless quest for power. When the universe gives Macbeth a sign that he will become King, he and his wife stop at nothing to cling to power, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.
As You Like It: 18 August – 29 October
- Shakespeare’s joyous comedy unfolds in the Forest or Arden, in an exuberant tale of romance and redemption.
The Comedy of Errors: running until 29 July
- Two sets of twins are separated by a shipwreck and end up in rival cities. After twenty years apart, they inadvertently cross paths and set in motion a series of chaotic events that hurtles towards an extraordinary finale.
Family-show Midsummer Mechanicals returns to the Playhouse from 22 July; Flagship project for secondary schools, Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank, returns with The Tempest, directed by Diane Page; Burnt at the Stake, or The Whole Truth, a special night of new writing runs in the Globe Theatre on 13 October.
