Sunny Afternoon – The Kinks Musical is finally back! Touring the UK in 2025 for the first time in nearly a decade. Following a phenomenal two-year run in London’s West End and a sell-out UK & Ireland tour in 2016/17, the Olivier Award-winning musical that charts the rise of The Kinks is returning to theatres nationwide.
Winner of four Olivier Awards – including Best New Musical and Outstanding Achievement in Music, the tour opened in Manchester on 10th October 2025 and continues around the country finishing in Cardiff on 30 May 2026.
Set against the backdrop of Britain on the cusp of the swinging sixties, Sunny Afternoon explores the highs and lows of Ray Davies and The Kinks as they rise from North London musicians to international rock stars.
