Explore luminous tones and simplified shapes in your favourite photographs and turn pictures into paintings using dots of pure colours and use a variety of materials including stickers, pastels and paint, to create your own pointillist artworks.
Decoding Pictures - Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 October
What can a painting really tell us? Explore the Gallery with Gallery Educators who will share skills to guide you in asking questions and discovering answers. Learn fun tips and tricks to unlock secrets hidden in plain sight, even if you’re seeing a painting for the first time. Discover how to decode pictures by looking, questioning, and discussing together in this interactive and fun session.
Creative Space: Neo(n)-Impressionism - Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 October
Step into an immersive space of glowing colours, shapes and forms, inspired by the ‘Radical Harmony’ exhibition. Connect the dots and play with light, shadow and sound to rebuild and redesign the sensory space.
Or simply take a break and sit together on our colourful carpet and vibrant giant beanbags.

Play and create with a range of Gallery inspired books, crafts, games and t-shirts all made for children and just perfect for getting creative in during the half term break.
Remember - Under 18s go free to any exhibition when accompanied by an adult.
