The Point Eastleigh & The Berry Theatre announces its dynamic and hugely entertaining Summer 2025 programme.

The Point Eastleigh with The Berry Theatre is excited to announce its dynamic Summer 2025 programme, offering a diverse array of events and activities designed to creatively engage and entertain the community. From the spectacular annual and completely free Unwrapped Festival, the return of a live music Summer Social - to a host of Theatre, music, Edinburgh Fringe Comedy stars and family shows.

Unwrapped Festival is a vibrant and free family-friendly celebration of outdoor arts, kicking off with a Pop Up Festival on Saturday 31st May, from 11am to 2pm at Netley Abbey Cricket Ground. The main Festival takes place Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th June, 10am – 5pm at Eastleigh’s Leigh Road Rec and Hedge End’s Greta Park respectively. Festivalgoers can enjoy an exciting range of performances and activities, including craft workshops, bubble discos, juggling sessions, stunning walkabouts, community performance and theatrical performances such as "The Town Band of Bremen" by The Fabularium and "The Dragon Wagon" by Jellyfish Theatre. Luke Brown Company brings their beautiful “Walk of the Dandelion”, where you can meet Daniel, an 8ft ethereal puppet who gently roams, sharing moments of joy and quiet reflection.

The summer fun keeps on giving as Friday evenings from 27th June – 25th July are taken over by Summer Social and a host of live music in Eastleigh’s Leigh Road Rec. Featuring appearances from Point and audience favourites, “The Moonlighters”, “Still Moving DJs”, “Carley Varley”, “Ri Baroch” and more. 

In the Point and The Berry Theatre’s, audiences can grab even more live music fixes with perfect group outings, “Now I’m Here – The Real Queen Tribute” (Fri 13 June), “Disco for Grown-Ups" (Fri 13 June) and “Steampunk Orchestra” (Sat 14 June). Comedy also takes to the stage with “Mark Waston presenting Fresh for the Fringe” (Sat 14 June & 5 July), “An Evening Without Kate Bush” (Thu 19 June), “BYOB - Bring Your Own Baby Comedy” (Wed 25 June & Tue 1 July), “Pat Cahill & Krystal Evans” (Sat 28 June) and “Luke McQueen & Rajiv Karia” are further exciting comedy highlights.
