
This is Croydon, The Mayor of London’s Borough of Culture 2023 continues into the Autumn with a programme including BirdGang, Croydonites, Dance Umbrella, SAVVY Theatre and The Place.
Croydonites, lead our theatre offering with the return of their cutting-edge festival, showcasing local and national talent. Boundless Theatre explore the influence of young people on the political system with House of Common. ZooCo look at night workers with their new production NightShift. Closing our autumn theatre season will be SAVVY Theatre’s Pinocchio.
The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine will be making their debut at Croydon’s world-class concert hall in Fairfield Halls this October.
Dance Umbrella and BirdGang have joined up for Family (DYS)Function and The Place are working with 45 dancers including local community members, taking over the streets in a unique outdoor dance spectacular.
As one of London’s most diverse boroughs we will be celebrating Black History Month, with events across the borough including Our Croydon led by Talawa Theatre Company and Museum of Croydon.
