Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s July - September 2026

The new Upstairs programme presents a mix of jazz, contemporary soul, acoustic R&B, gospel, musical theatre, hip-hop, global music, classical performances and more. Upcoming highlights include a residency for Grammy-winning British duo Blue Lab Beats, Birmingham-born singer and pianist Reuben James, West End star and lead vocalist for Basement Jaxx Sharlene Hector, powerhouse jazz/soul singer Vula, one of the greats of British jazz Art Themen, Leeds-born singer and saxophonist Parthenope, R&B and jazz singer and Incognito lead vocalist Tony Momrelle, the revered UK singer and pianist Joe Stilgoe and much more.

July Highlights

• Vocal Jazz Jam Wednesday 22^nd July  10.45pm (£15)
  Held every Wednesday night, hosted by pianist Jamie Safir with three of the UK’s finest jazz voices on rotation - Natalie Williams, Emma Smith and Georgia.
• Zoe Kypri Saturday 25 July (£30 – £40)
  Zoe Kypri is a Walthamstow-born artist blending soul, R&B and house with emotional, reflective songwriting. Known for the breakout club track Horizon Red.

August Highlights

• Blue Lab Beats Saturday 15 August, 5pm & 8.15pm (£25 – £35)
  Blue Lab Beats are the acclaimed London duo blending jazz, hip hop, soul and electronic music into a bold, genre-defying sound. GRAMMY winners and renowned live performers, they bring their signature energy to the stage with a full band, celebrating a decade of innovation, collaboration and boundary-pushing music.
• Vula presents: The Request Line Saturday 22nd August 5pm & 8.15pm (£30 – £40)
  Vula presents The Request Line, an interactive live show where audiences submit songs for her to perform, leading a world-class band in a spontaneous, audience-shaped set full of soul, R&B and surprises.

September Highlights

• Luke Smith - Up Close and Personal Friday 4th September 5pm & 8.15pm (£35 – £45)
• Luke Smith, acclaimed keyboardist and longtime collaborator with artists including George Michael, Amy Winehouse and Yusuf/Cat Stevens, presents an intimate Upstairs at Ronnie’s performance. 
• Piano Trio Series: Reuben James Thursday 17th September, 2026 5pm & 8.15pm (£30 – £40)
• Reuben James is a UK pianist, singer and composer blending jazz, soul and funk into a distinctive modern sound. Known for collaborations with artists including Stormzy, Sam Smith and Herbie Hancock, he delivers soulful, groove-led performances built on improvisation and strong songwriting.
