This summer we are giving you the opportunity to win two tickets to see Colchester Castle’s brand-new exhibition Adorn: Jewellery, The Human Story, plus an overnight stay at luxury hotel Wivenhoe House in Colchester, including dinner and breakfast. Adorn is the first exhibition to be held at Colchester Castle since it reopened in 2014 following a major refurbishment and has been two and a half years in the planning.

Wonder at items that are over 3,000 years old. With over 200 fascinating artefacts on display, telling some incredible stories from Colchester Museums collections, plus items on loan from other museums including the British Museum there is plenty to marvel at!

As well as tickets to see the exhibition, the prize includes full entry to Colchester Castle. The Castle is Europe’s largest Norman keep and is built on the historic foundations of the Roman Temple of Claudius. Inside you will find over 2,500 years of history packed in this historic building, with many nationally important objects on display, including Roman finds from the time that Colchester was Britain’s First Roman Capital. 

The prize includes an overnight stay at four-star luxury oasis, Wivenhoe House, with dinner and breakfast included. A Grade II building on glorious parkland, the hotel is the ideal spot for exploring the beautiful village of Dedham.
