Bloomsbury Festival is an annual celebration of arts and culture with a programme of performances, concerts, exhibitions, talks, events and films. The festival showcases the Bloomsbury’s creative identity, its heritage, the communities who call it home, the world class institutions on our doorstep, and annually brings together over 100 events into an exhilarating 10 day programme.
2024’s Festival events respond to the theme of ‘Human.Kind’.
Join us for an amazing display of artists from South America, Italy and South Asia at the festival’s opening night at Conway Hall on Friday 18th with Bloomsbury Festival’s Big Night Out. (Free entry - suitable for all ages plus suitable for families with children 8+)

• Saturday Discovery Day (26 October) at Holborn Library. A family science and creative day with pop-up exhibitions, games, storytelling, activities and discoveries from London’s leading science teams including UCL, Moorfields and Francis Crick Institute.
• Talks, walks and singing events about the history of St Giles and Bloomsbury at St Giles-in-the-Fields and the Dickens Museum
• Camden New Journal for Open To All, Coerced By None: The Camden New Journal Story (19 – 24 October) celebrating the history and heritage of the local independent community newspaper, and presenting Local, National, International – Reporting the News, a panel discussion with the Editor and guests (26 October)
• A festival within the festival, Jamboree King’s Cross will present a week of events (19 – 27 October) with a jam-packed programme of music, dance, life drawing and poetry
