Arisezon presents: Aba Shanti-I - The Summer Session - at EartH

21 June 2025 EartH

Notting Hill Carnival legend Aba Shanti-I brings his famous sound system to Camden's Jazz Cafe.

Voted No.1 DJ in the world back in '93, Aba Shanti-I has been one of Notting Hill carnival's most recognisable faces, having been providing his sound system for the last 30 years.

His impact on the scene has been monumental, with his brand of heavily-dubbed roots reggae becoming exported to numerous countries around the world.

For over three decades, Aba Shanti-I's thunderous soundsystem has been the heartbeat of London's reggae underground. The East London native, born to Antiguan parents, has commanded Notting Hill Carnival's sacred spaces since 1993 with his earth-shaking basslines and spiritual frequencies.

Alongside brother Blood Shanti and the mighty Shanti-Ites band, he's crafted seminal roots reggae albums that channel both Caribbean tradition and UK bass culture.

His influence extends far beyond carnival - from legendary Boiler Room takeovers (including his 2018 curated series) to shaping the very fabric of British soundsystem culture. When Aba's stacks roar, they don't just play music - they transmit ancestral wisdom through every vibration.

Arisezon are here to present a big show at EartH, where Aba Shanti-I will bring his full, blood-rocking sound-system to the venues bellowing halls.

Expect a masterful blend of roots, dub, reggae, and all in between, from one of the best to ever do it.
