The Detroit legend takes over a Shoreditch street for an behemothic 8-hour set on what should be a sunny Saturday.
Affiliated with Moodymann and Marcelus Pittman, a DJ and producer whose name needs no introduction in house circles, Theo Parrish has been consistently releasing for the last 25 years, working behind the forefront of house yet with supreme relevancy.
His first album First Floor is considered a landmark record in deep house, regularly cited by house DJ's as having influenced their work, evidenced by how fresh the record still sounds.
Now, Mr. Parrish joins krankbrother to bring the streets of Shoreditch an 8-hour set, from 2pm to 10pm, in an idyllic ringing in for summer. No frills, no faff, just a bar and a stage, the latter with Theo Parrish on it. How about that.
