One of hip-hops most iconic albums comes alive at Camden's Jazz Café this Christmas.
A Tribe Called Quest, the posterboys for jazz rap in the 90s, celebrate three whole decades of Midnight Marauders, a record which is still influencing new generations of rappers and producers.
At this special night in Camden, the London-based jazz collective Patterns will take the reigns for the tribute. Led by the magnificent Dani Deodato, who has worked with Arlo Parks and Pyjaen, Patterns will no doubt bring a true-to-life rendition of Marauders, tapping in to the jazz-hop style that made Tribe so popular in their day.
Unmissable for fans of the second Golden age of hip-hop that this record itself beckoned.
